About Me
Hi, I’m Beth. I am a licensed therapist, a mom, and just a girl who smiles a lot and believes the world needs a lot more kindness in it.
I started my TikTok account after realizing how many people, especially men, go through life never hearing kindness or being told that they matter. The reality that my son will grow up in a world where men don’t hear kindness didn’t sit well with me. Hearing my male veteran clients and my friends openly admitting to never hearing it either made me feel like I needed to do something.
This space is more than just offering therapy and coaching. It’s about working toward eventually growing a community built around healing, connection, and showing up for yourself and others. Whether you need therapy, coaching, or are just curious about me, I am happy that you are here.
I changed the course of my TikTok because of a combat veteran. I was in session and at the end of a particularly difficult one, I looked at him and said whole-heartedly, “I’m proud of you.” He looked a little stunned and said, “Okay, see you next week, Beth!” and promptly left. The next week he joined and I said, “Oh no you don’t! What was that about?!” He laughed then sighed and said, “I have never heard someone say those words to me.” I asked about his mom, his dad, his brothers, his ex-wife. He nodded no to each one. I told him, “Well I am proud of you. You’re doing a good job.” His eyes just slightly teared up and we began session. C.G., if you happen to see this, you are the reason for all of this. I am still proud of you. 🦋
